Bardi

Bardi – a fascinating story (Bardi) – an arcade game with elements of a survival strategy. The game is implemented on the theme of the war between the people of northern Europe – the Vikings – and the Roman Empire.

A bit of history. The expansion of the Roman Empire to the north of Europe was accompanied by devastating raids, the laying of paved roads and the construction of outposts, which, in addition to demonstrating military power, they either changed or destroyed the way of life of the indigenous peoples, along with its bearers – people. The northern people of Europe – in this case we are interested in the Vikings – resisted as best they could, but the forces were too unequal. Against such a historical background, the hero of our story was born – a Viking named Bardi, who decided for himself not to sit idly by until the Romans sold him into slavery or he sold himself into legionnaires. Bardi decided to resist alone. He sharpened his ax, equipped a wagon, did not forget to take some intoxicated honey with him, and went into the forests to partisan.

Gameplay. In the role of the lonely but brave hero of this story – Bardi – the player will have to protect his lands and people from destruction. In order for Bardi to deal alone with the “turtles” of the Roman legionnaires, the player – should be as evil and brave as the ancient Vikings – only in this case he will be able to confront the legion of enemies alone: ​​

1. Think over a strategy for a single war ;
2. Come up with tactics – various military tricks;
3. Throw your axes furiously at enemies;
4. Build and defend your battle positions, and attack enemy ones;
5. Constantly improve the technical characteristics of the wagon and replenish the strategic stocks of intoxicating mead, magic potion and weapons;
6. To practice the magical sciences and learn the martial arts;
7. Protect your people and save the flocks of commoners’ sheep.

Features:

• Management – gestures. In order to launch an ax or spells at enemies, the player only needs to swipe his finger across the screen of his smartphone or tablet.
• In order to pass the chosen path of the Viking with honor, the player needs to choose one of five scenarios for the development of his hero. The chosen scenario – the strategy of the game – depends on the skills and style of fighting Bardi. Each of the five scenarios is distinguished by the unique abilities of the protagonist – the hero controls different elements of nature.
• Tactics – the hero constantly needs to develop his skills and technical characteristics of the wagon. The latter determines the speed of Bardie’s movement around the locations of the game.
• Strategy. Build or capture enemy military base. Unite other characters around you. Expand your living space of the game. Protect the northern lands and peoples of Europe from the expansion of the Roman Empire.

As a bonus. Each hero must have a friend, assistant and companion. Bardi has a pet Dragon that the player has yet to learn how to be friends with.
