MechBox: The Ultimate Puzzle Box

Mechanical Box (M-Box) is a puzzle whose task is to make the player think. Think not only logically, but also creatively.

There is a Box on the playing field in front of the player. The player’s task is to open the Box. The difficulty lies in the fact that the Box is protected by digital and mechanical locks. To open the Box, the player has to bypass the complex system of protection of the Box against hacking: pick up codes, ciphers and keys. In order to cope with the task, the player must think systematically and at the same time outside the box; to separate the main from the secondary; try to understand the internal logic of the problem and solve it step by step.

Features of Box Mechanics :

• There is no time limit for solving the problem.
• You can puzzle over how to open the Box outside the Internet – offline.
• The graphics of the game are expressive and detailed.
• In the process of solving the problem, the game gives the player hints. Of all the clues, the player should choose the clue that will lead him to the solution by the method of elimination.
• Nothing in the game is random. To solve the puzzle, follow the laws of logic: non-contradiction, identity, sufficient reason and exclusion of the third. The player’s intuition can help find the correct solution to the problem faster. But intuition prompts the correct decision only when the player has already turned to the laws of logic.
• A player’s success is indicated by Achievements.
• The goal of the player is to collect all the Achievements.

According to the statistics from the Box Mechanics developers, only 10% of the players passed this test to the end – the remaining 90% of the players lacked either logic or patience.
