QUIRK – a promising new mobile “sandbox”, made in colorful polygonal graphics, allowing any gamer to create their own little world and do whatever they want in it. The developers of the release decided to use the concept of Minecraft, which is successful in all respects, but to get away from the cubic-block design, which, in our opinion, is the right decision. So, what should users expect from this product, which is still in beta testing?
It all starts in QUIRK , of course, with the creation of your avatar, since a convenient and functional editor is provided for this – gender, name, skin color, hairstyle, outfits, accessories. After that, we find ourselves in one of the ready-made worlds, where it is immediately desirable to start building your base using an impressive set of blocks, which again willy-nilly resembles Minecraft. There are many modes in the novelty, for example, you can completely devote yourself to creative activities, or take part in exciting fights against other players, using weapons picked up at locations or buying lethal samples in a special store for game currency.
Communicate in real time through the built-in chat with other inhabitants of the unique “sandbox”, make new friends of interest and create new projects together or go on a trip to remote locations. You are limited only by your imagination, and of course the resources that should be obtained from the game or invest real money through the donation system. The QUIRK project is really cool at first glance and it remains to wait for its official release in order to check the promises of the developers about complete freedom of action in practice.
