What is VVVVVV?
VVVVVV is the PC sequel to the 2010 hit indie arcade platform game, now on Android.
The action of the game takes place on board a spaceship, which is heading towards the horizon of the universe. In deep space, an accident occurred on board the ship, all crew members were scattered around the ship. The captain of the ship, Mr. Viridian, must go around every compartment on the ship in order to find all the crew members, repair the ship, and continue the space mission to save the universe.
Since the game takes place in space, there is no gravity. But the spacecraft has its own gravitational field. This means that both the ceiling and the walls of the ship can serve as a “floor” – you can move along them to avoid obstacles. The captain can also move left and right.
The plot of the game is divided into stages, which are displayed as a map of individual sectors of the spacecraft. You can go through the stages of the game in any order. Save points are hidden in each stage of the gameplay. They need to be found in order to save the game in case your hero dies – it can be restored from the last save point.
VVVVVV is a timekiller whose episodes can be flipped through as excitingly as a home photo album.
