Pandemic: The Road Home is the first part of an exciting and unpredictable interactive novel. The Apocalypse found the protagonist in a construction town. There, for the first time, he encountered people infected with an unknown virus, who, under the influence of the infection, turned into carnivorous and insane creatures. Survival in these terrible times does not start very well for the character – from the weapon, only the ax, with which he first, until he finds a more effective weapon, will repel zombie attacks.

In the future, the surviving wanderer will meet with other people who survived the cataclysm, clash with cruel marauders and bandits, extract resources and craft useful items, build a safe shelter and explore the surrounding territories. The story is told through dialogues with occasional inserts of thematic images.
