Gameplay. Developers of the game Total Warfare set the players on an almost impossible mission – to unite the three kingdoms. To do this, players hire characters known from the game The Three Kingdoms. Hiring means that players must obtain some resources in order to unlock the selected card – character at their expense. All card characters have unique abilities, and successful combinations of cards increase the total destructive effect of their characters – this is how players collect cards whose character forms armies , capable of fighting for the player’s dominance over medieval China.

At the beginning of the game, all players are scattered around the game world, divided into 14 conditional states, which, in turn, are divided into 1,440,000 lands. The value of each land is measured not by belonging to one of the 14 states, but by the resources inherent in this land and the talents of the player himself. Resources are distributed throughout the game world in such a way that for a successful game, players were forced to unite in military alliances. This is a multiplayer game in which hundreds of thousands of players play at the same time. In military strategies, in order to succeed, players unite in alliances – only as part of a wine alliance can you effectively counter the alliances of other players.

Having done their homework of forming an army and joining alliances, players move on to the next level of the game – tactical maneuvers:

• In single and team duel mode, players set cards against each other, the characters of which are at war with each other. Battles are visualized using animation. The battle is won by the player or players whose card characters, alone or in an alliance, are stronger than the cards of opponents.
• Tactical victories give players, in addition to access to new resources that can be converted into new cards, the ability to move around the game world – it is generated by artificial intelligence on the sandbox principle.
