Questomaniac is a puzzle game that combines several game genres in the most unusual way: arcade, role-playing game (RPG) and text quests.

Plots of text quests are borrowed from the following literary works:

1. “The Last Confederate” – western;
2. “Pirates and Corsairs” – a historical adventure;
3. “Joker’s grin” – horror, arthouse;
4. “Beyond the Law” is a thriller;
5. Captain Clark is an adventure;
6. “Rite” – horror;
7. “Dragons of Quanternia” – fantasy;
8. “Planet Anunnaki” – fantasy;
9. “Castle siege” – historical;
10. Right to Escape is an adventure;
11. “Secret Silence” – drama;
12. Andrew Guerra is an adventure.

The collection of puzzles is regularly updated with new quests.

The game process is implemented in the format of an interactive scenario written based on the above literary works. The player, as the main character of one of the literary works, faces the same tasks as his literary hero, but with the small difference that when solving a text quest, the player can choose alternative scenarios for the development of the classic plot.

Each puzzle consists of 4-6 key moments – text quests – the success of the player depends on the solution of which. Correctly solving the puzzle rewards the player with points, which the player can convert into hints that they can use in case of difficulty.

The successes of players from all over the world are displayed on the game’s global leaderboard. The best – the most erudite or savvy – players become leaders in the rating table.
