Catchphrase Classic

Catchphrase Classic is an intellectual word puzzle quiz.

Gameplay. Two teams participate in one game, the number of players is limited only by the common sense of the students. At the beginning of the game, players set a timer that counts down the time allotted for the game. Players take turns answering questions that appear on the phone screen. The task of each player of one team is to help the player whose turn it is to answer the question with hints. You can help the subject find the correct answer with hints: hard, suggesting the number of syllables of the word you are looking for as an answer, and in other ways, but not with a direct hint. Correct answer – it can be one word or a whole phrase. The correct answer brings the team one point.

List of riddle words – and there are more than 10,000 of them – sections by category:

• history – politics, wars, civil society and more;
• entertainment – music, cinema, books, sports;
• technologies – inventions, phenomena;
• geography – places of interest; transport;
• cooking – ingredients, cooking methods, restaurants;
• nature – plants and animals; society and others.

The application has an integrated random number generator – it selects questions for which players must find answers. The first team to score 7 points wins. the last condition may vary depending on the preliminary agreement between the teams.
