In the process of making a purchase, the code linked to the user’s bank card is read from the mobile device, while the confidentiality of the transmitted information is not in doubt – on the side of “near field communication” there are the most modern and advanced protective mechanisms.

If earlier a physical card was always required when making any payments, now there is simply no need for it – just bring your smartphone to a contactless payment device and the payment will be made in a split second. At the moment, most of the major banks support this function, and their list can be viewed directly from the Android Pay program.

The list of stores and outlets that support this type of contactless payment is also constantly growing – especially in large cities, unfortunately, everything reaches the periphery much later. This financial instrument is distributed completely free of charge and is not burdened with advertising – make sure that your device supports the NFC service, and feel free to install this application.

You should be warned that if your device has received ROOT rights to use the capabilities of Android Pay, you, unfortunately, will not be able to – this is done for security reasons. The same restrictions apply to the Android OS version – it must be at least 4.4. And, of course, the smartphone must work with the technology of “near contactless communication.” You can find out whether your mobile device supports the declared feature directly from the settings – go to the “Wireless networks” category, where, in addition to the usual modem and Wi-Fi, there is the “NFC Settings” section.
