Shot on for Mi – this application is designed to automatically add watermarks and tags (metadata) to photos taken by smart devices running the Android operating system.
Metadata is additional information about the main subject of information, for example, about the author, location or subject, in our case, the photo of the publication. Metadata can also contain keywords that search engines use to find and return information to Internet users as answers to their search queries.
Why add metadata to photos?
- So that creative people can protect their copyrights on photo publications.
- In order for your photo publications to be ranked high by search engines, this has a positive effect on the promotion of your photo publications or trademarks.
Who is this for?
- Freelancers, on the right, are people who test different products and publish their photo materials on the Internet and, in this way, they advertise themselves and protect their copyrights.
- Second, but not least, for people who want their photos to be easily searchable by keywords in the local file system.
How does it work?
- You download the app and install it on your Android device.
- In the application settings, you can set your own metadata and watermarks, or select watermarks and logos from the application’s library.
- The app Shot on for Mi automatically adds your metadata – watermarks, logos and keywords – to your photos.
