The Strava application registers the distance, speed, acceleration, pace and time of the route, as well as the number of calories planted – the user’s physical activity. Physical activity includes walking, running, cycling, swimming, skiing, crossfit, rock climbing, working out in the gym, and more.
How does it work? With the help of GPS navigation technology, the application creates maps of cycling, running or swimming routes, analyzes the parameters of progress along these routes, collects statistics, analyzes data and gives the user the results of his progress in the form of a graph.
With the Strava application you can prepare, for example, for a triathlon competition or a marathon. All users of the Strava application form one global social network, whose members are on their can share their experience with the whole world: routes, training plans and achievements.
Note: For the Strava application to work correctly, the user needs to allow the application access to the phone’s GPS sponsors.
