Amazon Kindle is a reader for e-books, magazines and newspapers – the application contains millions of books at the tip of your one finger!

The application contains the Amazon Kindle library – books, popular magazines and newspapers, such as The Economist, Reader’s Digest and hundreds of other publications.

Functions:

1. Read e-books for free – you have a choice of thousands of e-books in all genres of world classics: fantasy, detective stories, philosophy, science fiction, historical and romance novels, poetry, etc.;
2. Buy e-books such as the latest editions of the New York Times bestsellers;
3. Before shopping – read the first chapter of the selected book for free;
4. Use the built-in dictionary of Kindle, Google and Wikipedia. The application contains a built-in dictionary that allows you to find out the meaning of unfamiliar words directly while reading – click on the word until a pop-up window appears with the definition of the word; or follow the link on Google or Wikipedia for more information;
5. Highlight sections of texts; use the keyword search function; take notes in the “margins”;
6. Synchronize Amazon Kindle on other devices. The application uses Wispersync technology (default synchronization) to automatically synchronize user activity between different devices – the beginning and end of reading, bookmarks and marginal notes, underlining and discharge;
7. Cross-platform application – Android, PC, Mac, Windows Phone 8, Blackberry, iPod Touch;
8. Customize the application for individual preferences: font size, background color, screen brightness, screen orientation – portrait / landscape;
9. Upload your own e-books to your personal library Amazon Kindle ;
10. Scan school or student textbooks, digitize them and use them electronically.
