Hooked – this application can be attributed to e-books implemented in a completely unique format – short stories that are published in the form of correspondence between two people.

The developers of this application have set themselves the task of attracting young people to reading. To do this, they exploit the key features of young people – their curiosity and observation: in the Hooked application, the reader does not just read the story, he “peeps” the development of history from the point of view of the inner world of the characters in the story.

Graphically, the book is implemented in the form of correspondence between two people – a private chat in a messenger. After reading one message, the reader clicks on the “next” button in order to receive the next message. Each story is divided into chapters. One story can be read in 15-20 minutes. This format of reading – it captivates with the opportunity to look into the inner world of the heroes of each story – it’s like looking at someone else’s correspondence.

Reading thick books is boring. Short stories containing intrigue, a quick plot, a lot of interjections, giving room for conjecture and fantasy, a climax and a paradoxical denouement – what could be more interesting?

Hooked contains a library of books that is updated daily with new stories. Moreover, on this site, each user can write and publish their own story. (For the rules, see the “rules” menu).

All stories are divided into categories: love stories, detective stories, humor and more. In the upper left corner of the main screen there is a menu: genres, search engine, rules, help, languages. The application supports 8 languages. Among which there is neither Russian nor Ukrainian. The target audience of this application in the Russian-speaking segment of the intranet is children and teenagers who study foreign languages.

The application is paid. The first 7 days you can read Hooked stories for free – this is a test period, after which every week you will need to pay 198 rubles or their equivalent in another national currency.
