Blue Light Filter is a utility that uses adjustable filters to reduce the glow of your phone’s screen in the blue spectrum.

Blue color – the visible spectrum of the luminescence in the range of 350-550 nm fluctuations of electromagnetic waves. According to scientific studies, prolonged exposure to blue light on the retina suppresses the secretion of melatonin and disrupts human circadian rhythms. Circadian rhythms are cyclical fluctuations in the intensity of various biological processes associated with daily changes in day and night. The period of circadian rhythms is close to 24 hours. Despite the fact that circadian rhythms are influenced by external stimuli, circadian rhythms are endogenous, (these are causes that lie in the internal environment of the body) origin. Thus, circadian rhythms are a biological clock, violating the natural course of which leads to irritability, insomnia and pain in the eyeballs.
To prevent the unwanted influence of blue color, our application installs a digital filter on the user’s phone screen, which does not pass the glow in the visible blue spectrum. The filter is adjustable. The filter can also be turned on/off with a timer. It is recommended to use our blue color filter for reading in the dark – night mode.
