WPSApp

WPSApp is an application with which you can check the security of your local WiFi network.

To check the WiFi network for its vulnerability, our application uses the WPS protocols – they allow you to quickly and easily configure the security of the WiFi network, without special knowledge of encryption or system administration. The WPS algorithm for connecting to a WiFi network allows the user to independently decide what level of security the WiFi network he uses should be.

How does it work? The access codes of most routers are publicly known and therefore vulnerable to third-party tampering.

The WPSApp application contains a database of insecure router codes.

Solution. Our application scans all available WiFi networks in the user’s environment and evaluates them for vulnerabilities. The WPSApp application also gives the user all access codes to WiFi networks stored in the user’s phone memory. Detected WiFi networks are indicated by colors:

• Red checkmark — WiFi network is secure.
• If a WiFi network is marked with a question mark, it means that the network is vulnerable to third-party interference.
• Using the WPSApp application, you will also find out the passwords for detected WiFi networks, but for this the user must have access to the root folders of the phone – root rights.

Note: The WPSApp application does not work correctly on all brands of Android devices. The hardware requirement is Android 9 and higher.
