Cube Escape: Paradox – Detective Dale Vandermeer, as part of this fascinating quest, once again has to find a way out of a difficult situation, being an unwitting participant in the game started by an old rival and implacable enemy. Waking up in an unfamiliar apartment, not remembering anything about the events that brought him here, the main character must understand how to get out of a delicate and potentially dangerous mess, and this is where he will need erudition and the ability to think outside the box.
In the Cube Escape: Paradox adventure project, users will find many references to the Rusty Lake game series, and in some places the plots of these quests are closely intertwined with each other – a great chance for fans of the franchise to learn the secrets of past episodes. The indescribable atmosphere of mystery, understatement and uncertainty, to which the famous Dutch artist Johan Scherft had a hand, makes one admire both the simplicity and sophistication of the visual picture.
An old globe, a tub with a flower, deer antlers on the wall, a TV set and a closet – this is what will appear before the main character when he wakes up. Tap on active areas, interact with interactive objects, collect them in your inventory and use them to solve puzzles and unravel encrypted messages. Move to neighboring rooms, getting closer and closer to solving the main issue. The Cube Escape: Paradox quest offers users to go through two chapters, and only the first one is free, for the second one you will need to pay about three dollars, which is just sheer nonsense compared to the pleasure that this unique graphic novel will give you.
