Dropdom – casual puzzle game with clear conditions, but big problems on the way to their implementation. The main task is to collect the maximum number of points by eliminating horizontal rows consisting of blocks of different lengths. This can only be done by dropping a block of suitable size from the top row, having achieved the filling of all voids on the “brickwork” located below. Although blocks of different colors appear in the puzzle, this parameter is in no way reflected in the gameplay itself – nothing more than an attempt by the developers to achieve an original style in the design.
Perhaps, for many gamers, the game Dropdom will remind Tetris and there is some truth in this, because here only completely filled rows are removed in the same way. But in our opinion, this novelty from the hua weiwei studio is much more difficult, since there is no possibility to expand the blocks, and it is not always possible to find a tile under the void below to fill it. In addition, each active action of the user leads to a shift of the entire mass of tiles by one division upwards – if you allow objects to reach the “ceiling”, the level ends and the points scored by the intellectual are counted.
Of the bonuses in the Dropdom project, there is only a “rainbow” block, which destroys two adjacent rows after activation. It is extremely difficult to achieve truly record-breaking results in this logic game, and information about your current position in the ranking can be viewed in the corresponding tab. As such, there is no hint system activated by the gamer, but if the move is not made for a long time, then the system gives visual advice on the advisability of moving the selected brick in any direction.
