Inertia: Escape Velocity HD is a platform game that takes place at space speed II. The movement of objects and characters in the game is carried out according to the natural laws of physics.

Every object in the Universe has an attractive force, its own gravitational field. Such a force field is possessed by both a cluster of planetary systems (Galaxies) and individual planets, up to a billiard ball on a green tabletop. For example, the gravitational field of the Earth tends to stretch towards itself all the objects available to the field of its attractive force.

But the rules have exceptions – this is the will of the Gods. The hero of this story is Hermes (aka Mercury) – the god of trickery, dexterity, war and eloquence! This high-tech character has his own power of attraction – willpower. Hermes can fly. He can control gravity at will.

In the game, you have to use the exceptional power of the gods, together with Hermes, in order to jump, soar and instantly cross outer space. Help Hermes go through a series of exciting trials, survive mortal dangers, avoid irreversible collisions with objects approaching him. Your task is to become the guardian angel of the god Hermes himself!
