Mobile developers have come up with a huge number of reasons for starting a war of the future – natural disasters that occurred after a global nuclear strike, secret Z viruses that broke free and turn people into zombies, the use of chemical weapons and much more. However, in the arcade world King Tongue from the ANKAMA GAMES studio, everything is much more interesting and far from the usual concept of the genre. In the global war within the framework of the project, it is not people at all who take part, but monkeys who do not use weapons of mass destruction, but prefer to exterminate opponents with pinpoint strikes. The enemies of the characters are aggressive bananas – poisonous yellow warriors with grenade launchers and other weapons at the ready.

The main character of the game King Tongue is an athletically built gorilla with a huge tongue, with the help of which it performs its combat functions – increasing speed, all kinds of acrobatic pirouettes, powerful jumps that allow you to point-destroy opponents. The user will be introduced to all the details of the control system during the training stage, first they will be shown, and then they will be offered to pass a test, after the successful completion of which, the gamer will go on a “free float” through numerous levels of increasing complexity. The main task is clear and understandable – to free the locations of the future from aggressive fruits and replenish your personal account with bonus points that affect the rating and place in the global ranking. Levels in the arcade of a horizontal projection, and real chaos is happening on them.

The design of each stage in King Tongue is a real flight of design ideas, which involves the use of several floors with barriers, ceilings, static and dynamic platforms, narrow passages. It is for these objects that the protagonist will have to cling to the language, because the only way he is able to move around the location and crush enemies. The complexity increases gradually, but steadily, the first ten stages pass purely on an intuitive level, the main thing is not to rush to conclusions, hoping that everything will continue to happen practically on “autopilot”, real hell will begin a little later. By the way, bananas are quite dangerous because they regularly shoot from their shoulder grenade launchers, so the gorilla will also have to constantly dodge the rushing projectiles.
