Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

Maze Runner 2 – an action game from the PIKPOK studio, based on the adventures that happened to the main characters in the film of the same name: brave guys and girls who, by the will of fate, find themselves in deadly dangerous conditions, are trying to gain freedom, simultaneously tearing off the veil suspense and answering the main questions. The unpretentiousness and unobtrusiveness of the game story quickly allows gamers to join it, because the goal is obvious – to find a way out, but time is against the company of gliders. And yet, try step by step to hone the craft of high-speed running – deftly dodge obstacles placed along the track, build a route through an endless desert scorched by the merciless sun, save up game money and beat the records of other users in the global ranking.

It should be noted that the plot of the arcade novelty Maze Runner 2 is almost completely consistent with the events unfolding in the original blockbuster – a similar set of locations, constant movement, straightforward goals and individual functions assigned to each member of the team. In principle, the metamorphoses in this part are purely visual – from the merits one can note the high drawing of the characters and surrounding objects, more colorful landscapes and new gadgets issued to help travelers. Meanwhile, the concentration of cons only grows stronger – the gameplay is completely copied, that is, you will find a long and monotonous passage of levels.

But, despite a number of disappointments, the visuals in The Maze Runner 2 are simply incomparable – the designers managed to convey the hopelessness and stinginess of the planet destroyed by the global war: everywhere you look, ruins and chaos, refugee tents and bonfires, on which they prepare a meager dinner, imagining with horror that several days may pass before the next meal. Locations have changed in the direction of complexity and diversity – you have to wobble while running every now and then, and many obstacles make you constantly make virtuoso timely jumps. Such a complication only benefits the novelty – hardcore is able to interest gamers of appropriate training and makes it necessary to replay the most intricate sections many times in a row, achieving a record result.
