Motoko Parallax Live Wallpaper

Motoko Parallax Live Wallpaper is a collection of live wallpapers based on the animated series in the style of the Japanese anime “Ghost in the Shell”.

The main character of the animated series – Kusanagi Motoko – is a harbinger of the future, in which people expand their natural physical and intellectual abilities due to partial or complete cybernetization of the body – this is how “ghosts in the shell” are born – human souls in computer bodies.

Kusanagi Motoko is 100% cyborg. She works in Section 9 of the Japan Public Security Bureau. Section 9 of the BOB investigates crimes committed by human cyborgs. Against the backdrop of human-robot conflicts – these are moral, psychological, legal and technological contradictions – the plot of the animated series is being built.

The application contains a collection of drawings dedicated to the main character of “Ghost in the Shell”. Drawings have a parallax effect – this is when the visible object of the picture changes its position relative to the background or foreground in the same picture, depending on how the observer’s point of view changes. The parallax effect gives the viewer of the picture the impression that the object of the picture is turning at the same time as the viewer is beckoning their angle of view to the picture.
