The game has two modes – fights against artificial intelligence or online battles with a real opponent randomly selected by the system.

Our nondescript, but patriotic hero is always on the left side of the screen, and the enemies are storming the fortress, located at some distance on the right side. The goal of The Catapult is clear – to destroy enemy structures before they do it with your catapult, the only difficulty is that you have only one weapon at your disposal, and the enemy can have several mechanisms at once, which significantly complicates the defense . But the supply of stones is not limited, although here the developers sided with the gamer.

In order to send a projectile flying, you should use the principle of a slingshot – we make a swipe in the opposite direction from the planned flight, adjusting the distance and speed of the cobblestone, after which we remove our finger from the screen and watch the flight, and how it will turn out – effective or not, depends on the eye and skill of the user. Rivals, meanwhile, are insidious and cunning, as they constantly change the location of their catapults, and the devices themselves are gradually becoming more powerful, and it will be more and more difficult to break them, and it is simply impossible to break them with one shot.

There are only two bonuses in the game The Catapult, but they are quite enough with proper use – this is a bomb that detonates when it meets an obstacle and destroys everything around with a powerful blast wave, as well as the ability to send three projectiles flying at the same time, which, of course, somewhat increases the chances of an effective hit on the target. Graphically, the project is made concisely, but nicely, especially the special effects that make the destruction realistic and spectacular.
