This novelty is timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the release of the first game from the popular Assassin’s Creed series, although the arcade got only the atmosphere and original characters that took part in the adventures of the computer version from it. The gameplay requires only one action from the user – with the help of various blocks, he will have to build a tower of unprecedented height, and all actions are performed with one touch, which once again confirms the casualness of the gameplay.
The complexity of building the tower is aggravated by the fact that an assassin is constantly and non-stop climbing on it, who in this occupation could be the envy of professional acrobats. The user cannot control the main character in any way, since he performs all the actions on his own, all that remains is to put blocks on top of each other in time so that the hero’s ascent does not stop for as long as possible.
The process of building a tower in The Tower Assassin’s Creed is as follows – initially the first block base is on the screen, the following sections appear evenly from different sides and gradually approach the base along a horizontal line. The gamer needs to tap on the display at the moment when the moving element is exactly above the bottom plate. If it is not possible to precisely set the block with jewelry, and any of its edges protrude beyond the edges of the plate located below, then they will simply be cut off. This is the main problem – with frequent errors, the size of the sections will gradually decrease, and, consequently, it will be more and more difficult to install new elements on them.
Sooner or later, the user will make a fatal mistake and the assassin will fall down, collecting helix credits in flight. Fortunately, a fall from a height will not be fatal for the character, since he always lands on a haystack located at the base of the tower. The number of points scored by the user depends on the height of the structure he built. In the casual project The Tower Assassin’s Creed, several locations are implemented, each of them will send the gamer to a certain iconic city, which the assassin has already visited as part of a computer game. There are also several characters, they differ purely externally, and they open for the game currency collected in the process of falling the adherent of the holy order down.
