Makhos — Thai checkers Makrku.

There are several varieties of checkers in the world: Gothic, Hawaiian, Turkish, Russian, Czech, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian, one-sided, corner, parachute, Domeo. The most common type of checkers is the English version.

The Thai version of checkers is Makhos , which is somewhat different from the rest:

• The size of the game board is 8×8=64 cells. The number of checkers on the board – 8 on each side – a total of 16. Checkers are located on black cells in two rows.
• Black makes the first move. Pawns move diagonally, they only attack forward. When a pawn reaches the opposite side, it becomes a Domka.
• The king walks and hits in all directions. After the capture, both the Queen and the pawn – they move to the next cell after the beaten pawn or King of the opponent.
• Beating is a must.
