Russian Checkers is a logic board game in which two opponents participate, and the goal is to capture all the opponent’s checkers or “lock” them. There are a huge number of checkers options – these are Turkish, and English, and Canadian, and Brazilian, and Spanish, and international. And I must say, the rules in all varieties are sometimes quite different from each other, ranging from the size of the board, ending with the rules for “eating” the opponent’s pieces and the behavior of the so-called “kings”.
In our case, the developers offer a rather popular version of “Russian checkers” with the ability to choose artificial intelligence or another real user as an opponent through local multiplayer (on the same device). The application interface is multilingual, there are six levels of difficulty in the case of playing with a computer (from a green beginner to a candidate for a master of sports), the ability to customize the appearance of the workspace (wood, marble, leather, cardboard), select the option to control taps or swipes and other less significant in practical terms options.
Each game in Russian Checkers is automatically saved in the history, after which you can analyze it, identify mistakes in tactics in order to try not to repeat them in the future. Special attention deserves statistics through which you can track your progress, see the number of wins, losses and games that ended in a draw. By the way, a draw is possible either by agreement of the parties or automatically if the players make several moves of the same type.
