Fold the World is an educational puzzle game for kids. The puzzle is implemented in the style of a panorama book – this means that the puzzle looks like a book in which each page is a 3D panorama. To turn the page of the book, the player himself needs to fold the panorama.
The process of the game. The hero of the puzzle is an energetic frog on a spring named Yolo. Yolo travels through the Paper Kingdom. The path of Yolo shows him the path. The path leads Yolo from one puzzle to another.
The puzzle involves the player helping Yolo follow a path on the Paper Kingdom map. In order to help Yolo – not to let him go astray – the player folds a sheet of paper like origami in such a way that the beginning of the track on one segment of paper continues on the next segment. So, you need to fold all the segments of paper into one continuous path, which should lead Yolo through all the pages of the panoramic book to the goal.
The goals of Yolo’s journey are to go through all the intricate paths of the Paper Kingdom, collect experience, rewards and achievements along the way – and all this in order to remove the sinister curse of the Paper Triangle – the Paper Dragon from the Kingdom.
In case of difficulty, the player will be helped by Magic Ink – they illuminate the paths in the dark. During the game, the player earns winning points, which are converted into various helpers and amplifiers. But the player can also buy amplifiers and helpers in the game store for real money.
The player can solve puzzles together with friends. In order to compare the results, they need to be published on the social network Facebook.
