Gem blast – a puzzle game that includes three different modes, which are connected by one idea, namely the principle of Tetris. Although the mechanics of each of the games are well known, since they have been exploited more than once in other independent projects, we will nevertheless consider them in more detail. So, after starting the game, the gamer finds himself in the main menu, welcoming him with bright colors and a call to decide on the type of puzzle that can test attentiveness, spatial thinking, and even finger dexterity.
Gem blast project mode called Drag Mode – move multi-colored elements of different shapes that appear at the bottom of the screen onto the playing field, trying to add horizontal or vertical rows, after which they will disappear, bringing treasured points to your account. The game continues as long as there is space for new elements on the field, and if there is no free space, then the round ends. Classical Mode – this mode is most similar to the classic Tetris, as the pieces fall from the top of the playing field and can be rotated around its axis (there are corresponding on-screen buttons).
And the final Gem blast mode called Slide Mode – inside the playground there are already tiles of different sizes, and the gamer can, if necessary, move them from side to side so that they fill the empty space on the lower “floors”. Fully assembled horizontal rows disappear, bringing the gamer points, and the game continues as long as there is space on the field for constantly adding rows, and that is why it is important to drop the extra “ballast” in a timely manner.
