ZARYA-1 STATION – a survival quest created on the basis of science fiction with elements of horror and black humor – this is an interactive book in which the development of the plot does not depend on the author of the book, but on the reader. Interactivity is carried out using quests, the correctness or alternativeness of the solution of which can dramatically change the course of the game event, thus, the player is not a passive reader of someone else’s story, but a proactive participant in the adventure of his own authorship.
Plot. In the very near 2021, earthlings will receive a distress signal coming from the dark side of the moon. The World Government of the Earth will immediately send an expedition of four astronauts to investigate the nature of this signal. By downloading our game, you will become a participant in these future events. Your playful task is to direct the actions of the astronauts: in a commanding tone (in the imperative mood), you will have to tell the astronauts who, what exactly and when to do, in order to solve the problems and tasks that arise every now and then in the course of history. Thus, each of your decisions will bring the astronauts closer or further away from the strategic goal of the game – saving those who are sending a distress signal from the far side of the moon into outer space.
Peculiarities.
- The game ZARYA-1 STATION combines sci-fi literature, the puzzle game genre, and the stereotypical fears of earthlings before aliens and the unknown, and all this is seasoned with specific humor.
- Communication between the player and the characters in the game is carried out using text messages and in real time.
- When you are unable to take an active part in the game, your wards astronauts will inform you only about the most significant events of the gameplay.
- In cases of a wrong decision, you will be able to go back in time to correct the mistake or just to find out the alternative endings of the game.
- How this story will end – a happy ending or a tragic ending – from now on depends only on you.
What makes our game different from other one-genre (text quest) games is the amazing photos that the astronauts send to the player in order to visualize the plot development.
