DUST is a role-playing adventure in a post-apocalyptic setting, which can be safely called something conceptually new in the genre. This also applies to the visual part of the project, and the gameplay with mechanics, and the control system. To be fair, not all users will like this approach, but fans of the laconic style and non-linear plot, which changes depending on the choice and actions of the player, will be satisfied.
The end of civilization began with the appearance of a mushroom cloud on the horizon, which arose after a nuclear explosion. One of the parties to the conflict used atomic weapons, provoking the launch of missiles with destructive warheads from the enemy side. Naturally, no one managed to win this conflict, and the result of the war was monstrous casualties on both sides and billions of dead civilians.
Features:
- outlandish creatures that live in the post-apocalyptic wasteland;
- story quests, supplemented by collecting artifacts and items;
- learning skills and pumping character abilities;
- elements of trade and replenishment of inventory with things;
- laconic graphics with retro effects.
A lone hero, miraculously surviving a nuclear cataclysm DUST , is trying to survive in a radioactive wasteland and find other people. The project offers the gamer to constantly experience the pangs of choice, which as a result affect the development of a non-linear plot. The oppressive soundtrack and design with retro effects complete the picture of hopelessness and doom – it looks unusual and atmospheric.
