Finger Tap is a casual arcade game, the main and, perhaps, the only advantage of which is the musical accompaniment, as the composition “Mining By Moonlight” from the famous American composer Kevin MacLeod sounds in the background. Otherwise, we have a primitive arcade game with one-touch control, which is able to develop the dexterity and fine motor skills of the participant in the competition with himself, since there is not even a rating for comparing your achievements with the records of other users in the game.
So, what do we need to do within the framework of the Finger Tap project? Tap on black tiles as quickly as possible, avoiding contact with white elements. The playing field is a kind of platform, consisting of four rows of rectangles of two colors. At the bottom of the screen, we see the silhouette of the footprint, which will “slap” on the correct tiles, making the appropriate sound after contact with them. The novelty has two modes – Time Attack, the task of which is to press within the allotted time (20 seconds) by the largest number of black tiles, after which the final result is shown.
The “Long Run” mode involves passing a given distance in the shortest time, after which we can again look at the result achieved. As we have already said, a gamer in Finger Tap can only compete with his Ego, over and over again, trying to improve the previous personal record. Of the settings, only the mute button is available, and in order not to bother yourself with the contemplation of annoying ads, we immediately advise you to turn off the Internet on your mobile device. Graphically, everything is primitive and infinitely laconic – pure casualness, although this format has its fans!
