Magnus Trainer – set off on a journey through the exciting and unpredictable world of an ancient board game together with chess player Magnus Carlsen. Improve your gaming skills with fun activities and interactive lessons from a professional mentor.

Before the start of training, the program will determine the current level of the user’s knowledge by offering to answer a number of questions, some of which are presented in the format of situational tasks modeled on the board. There are a total of four courses available in the app – Basics, Easy, Intermediate and Advanced. Each of them has three dozen degrees, after passing which the user moves on to the next course.

Lessons are given in the form of a textual explanation of game moments with their simultaneous presentation on the chessboard. Find out what castling is used for and how an opening differs from an endgame, what an opera checkmate is, get acquainted with the Queen’s Gambit, learn how to predict your opponent’s moves, and so on. During the breaks between lessons, the application offers to relax for the benefit of the business – try to fulfill the conditions of mini-games within the time limit.
