AR-muse: Project Water – this educational game is a research project of IT-studio Augmented Learning Group. The game is implemented in the augmented reality genre.
The player’s task is to purify polluted water with the help of purifying filters, and thus restore the natural qualities of the water world in a single game.
During the game, you will learn about how polluted water can be purified using renewable technologies – systems, reagents, cycles and much more. The data about the process and results of the game is sent to the CUTE research center, where it will be analyzed in terms of how IT professionals should develop educational programs in the “augmented reality” genre.
All players who want to participate in this research project should allow the application to automatically send data about the progress and results of the game to the developers of the CUTE studio. The data that will be sent to CUTE IT-studio will contain only data about the gameplay, age and gender of the player. The application does not collect any personal data.
The application contains links to websites dedicated to renewable technologies. Once a week, the application will ask you in a test format for your opinion and wishes regarding the game.
The research project AR-muse: Project Water is supported by the Science Research Foundation of Singapore, one of the centers for the development of modern IT technologies. Also, this project is being implemented jointly with IT-studio KEIO-NUS CUTE, and the National Research Center of Singapore.
Objectives:
- Promote renewable technologies and distance learning through educational programs.
- Optimize learning algorithms.
