Streets of Rage Classic is an excellent port of the famous project from the SEGA company, made in the beat ’em up setting, in which the main characters will go through eight locations and try to defeat hundreds of enemies, clearing their hometown from the dominance of evil. The novelty completely repeats the 1991 original stylistically and in plot – former police officers Adam Hunter, Axel Stowe and Blaze Fielding, each of whom is endowed with a unique combat potential, are ready to risk everything and destroy the organization of the cruel Mister X.
At the same time, a gamer in the fighting game Streets of Rage Classic can control only one character, choosing him before the start of the level, however, given that the game has a two-player mode on one mobile device, there can be two ex-cops on the city streets at once . Warriors of law and order can move to locations from side to side, as well as up or down, which gives them relative freedom of action to choose a winning position for an attack. All controls are displayed on the screen, but you can connect a physical joystick, with which it will become much more convenient to destroy enemies.
We doubt that Streets of Rage Classic will attract the attention of gamers spoiled by modern graphics and tons of game features, but for those users who played this game in the original, a lot of positive nostalgic moments are definitely guaranteed. The free version of the game assumes the presence of advertising, and sometimes it can be useful, because for watching it the user is given new attempts in the event of the death of the ward, as well as unique gains.
