Learning to read – Today’s children are usually introduced to smartphones and tablets early. And of course, most of all they love to play games on them.
This game is a great way to use your child’s tablet time to teach them how to read.
It is no longer necessary to persuade the child to work out with the ABC, and then repeat the same letter or syllable hundreds of times. Your child himself will want to play this game – because it is so similar to already familiar games. It has different levels and stars that are given out as a reward.
In the initial levels, there are no tasks at all. You can just play with letters or syllables: call fireworks or snow from them, burst soap bubbles with them – while listening and remembering letters and syllables.
There is also an alphabet in the game, but not the usual one, but “speech therapy”. It does not study letters, but sounds – how they are pronounced in words. Vowels come first, then consonants. At the stage of learning letters, vowels are written in red, and consonants in blue. At later stages, all letters in syllables and words are already written in one color so that the child gets used to real books.
In addition, the font of the text is constantly changing in the game – this teaches the child that the same letters can look different.
The first level in the “Words” section is somewhat similar to interactive “Zaitsev’s cubes”. Here the child can independently compose words from ready-made syllables and at the same time listen and see what happened as a result of his actions. And the pictures appearing after the composition of the word, each time cause genuine joy in the child.
