Sounds for Toddlers

Sounds for Toddlers is a simulator of sounds of wild and domestic animals. At an early age, sounds play a big role – they replace children’s inability to see and understand. The world for children is sounds. Through sounds, children get acquainted with the world around them and communicate to the world about themselves, their desires and feelings.

Children learn to express themselves using the innate instinct of imitation. At an early age, children perceive the world more through sounds than visually: children hear more than they see. In order for sounds to acquire images, a cause-and-effect relationship must be formed between the first and second.

All that remains for parents to do is to enrich the collection of children’s sounds with new sounds, and assign meaning to the sounds – images.

The developers of this educational game drew minimalist pictures of animals. The pictures are accompanied by sounds characteristic of the animal depicted.
The gameplay is that kids touch the image of an animal in the picture, and the animal makes characteristic sounds. Children imitate these sounds and develop their vocabulary – the ability to modulate sounds.

Children’s successes are rewarded with virtual gifts that keep children focused on the game.
