Blood Rivals is a first-person shooter in the (battle royale) survival genre. This is a game in which millions of players from all over the world parachute alone on the battlefield in order to shoot each other, the best of them survive. This last survivor will receive the title of Father, a synonym for a hero and a leader on the global leaderboard of the game.
But not everything is so simple. Shooting is not enough. In order to be guaranteed to survive, players need resources (weapons, vehicles, ammunition), and they need a team. And in order to correctly use resources, we need tactics that are developed only during the game.
The game environment provides an open 3D high-tech world of the future, in which players exterminate each other both with the help of small arms and with the help of automatic (bots) systems controlled by artificial intelligence – these are drones and homing guns.
To survive in the hostile Blood Rivals environment, players need resources. But, in order to find resources, players using various vehicles – off-road vehicles, tanks and helicopters – explore the game world, which is gradually narrowing, thereby making the collision of players inevitable. From these conditions, it follows that the player who moves around the game world faster than others will have more chances to survive – this gives players the advantage of being the first to take possession of both living space and resources located in different segments of the game world.
The peculiarity of survival games in the battle royale genre is that the arena of one battle is gradually narrowing, and the time allotted for one battle is limited to 10 minutes. In such a short time, one player needs to complete so many tactical tasks that it is possible to successfully cope with this only as part of a team. Therefore, players can unite in teams of 12 fighters, thus dividing different tactical tasks among themselves, players are guaranteed to be able to achieve a common strategic goal for all – to survive.
