ER Emergency Cardiac Surgery – a simulator with which children can try themselves in the role of, for example, a cardiac surgeon – simulate a heart transplant operation.
Case history (plot). Ordinary city apartment. The clock is ticking on the wall. A dog sleeps restlessly on the rug. An adult man does household chores. Suddenly, the man feels unwell: dizziness, shortness of breath, numbness of the limbs are signs of a heart attack. What should I do? The dog starts to whine. The patient needs medical attention.
This simulator makes the player feel anxious and responsible for the life and health of the patient. But in order to save the patient’s life, you need to put aside the excitement, and act like a professional:
- Call an ambulance.
- Get the patient to the hospital.
- Conduct an examination of the patient.
- Make appropriate analyzes and take readings of medical devices that register: heartbeat, body temperature, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
- Assign treatment. Schedule a heart transplant if necessary.
From this moment the fun begins:
- Preparing the patient for surgery. The cardiac surgeon, nurses, anesthesiologist and other specialists are also preparing – they wash their hands, put on surgical gloves and masks.
- The operation begins: using a scalpel, you need to open the patient’s chest in such a way as not to damage the bones of the chest and other vital organs.
- Remove the diseased organ – the heart.
- Implant a new healthy heart into the patient’s chest.
- Using a pacemaker to make a new heart beat – revive.
This is the main scenario for the development of the game. The simulator also contains exceptional cases in which young cardiac surgeons will have to show independence in order to save a patient’s life.
Features:

- Realistic graphics and precise surgical instruments make young surgeons feel responsible for the lives of their patients.
- The game is educational. Designed for preschool children.
