The Firm is a stock market simulation game where millions of players from all over the world try their hand at it.
Plot. At the beginning of the game, you have a conditional amount of money that you will operate on the stock exchange – buy and sell shares of firms and companies put up for sale. You can do this both on your own and by hiring professional traders for this work. In the latter case, you will earn less, but you will also be less likely to go bankrupt by buying shares in, for example, fake companies.
The goal of the game on the stock exchange is to buy and sell shares with a positive difference for yourself in such a way as to get rich – to become a leader in the global rating table of the game.
This is the bright side of this story. In order to achieve your goal faster, you will need to resort to the dark side of the game on the stock exchange. You will have to:
- Learn to be good at not only how stocks are quoted on the market, but also what is happening outside the exchange – read the press in order to find out in time the news that may affect the stock quote.
- To organize a PR campaign to attract interest in the shares of a company, or to discredit the chosen victim.
- Organize company raids, blackmail, bluff, get insider information and hack into security systems – hire the appropriate specialists for this delicate, but still dirty work.
Your strategic goal is to cheaply buy shares of promising and successful companies, and sell their shares with a positive difference for yourself – to become the owner of The Firm and the leader in the global rating table of the game.
