King of Avalon: Dragon Warfare is an MMO real-time strategy game set in an alternate history of England. Genre – fantasy.
The game takes place after the death of King Arthur. Locations – Camelot Castle and its environs. Camelot is a real-life castle in which King Arthur founded the Order of the Knights of the Round Table, and from where the adventures of noble knights began in search of the Holy Grail.
Gameplay: King Arthur is dead. The throne of the king is vacant. The player’s task is to win the right to the royal throne as a warrior with weapons in his hands, and as a strategist to organize a military company – to capture the castle of Camelot and become the new king of England. Historical background: England was a kingdom before conquered by the Bretons.
The war for the throne for the player means to painstakingly develop a strategy and implement tactical moves step by step:
- Choose a character for yourself: a mercenary, a knight, a magician or an archer.
- Develop your character’s skills in using medieval weapons: a sword, a spear; wear armor or send magic spells. The main thing is to tame and educate a weapon of mass destruction – a dragon.
- Explore locations and find resources: artifacts, fossils and treasure chests.
- Recruit other strong and ambitious players from all over the real world into the service of a high goal – to build an army; create military alliances – alliances against other contenders for the royal throne.
- Build military bases, ramparts and watchtowers.
- Defend your positions from enemy attacks and carry out sorties to expand the living space of your alliance.
- Fight in arenas in duel and multiplayer modes.
- Accumulate resources for the main battle involving the Dragon of Mass Destruction.
- Become the new King of England.
Features of the game:
- Players can communicate with each other in game or private chat.
- Players can make gifts to each other anonymously.
Note: In order to successfully implement any game strategy, the player should pay great attention to social connections in the game and beyond. The philosophy of the game, incorporated into the game by the developers, is that only a well-organized social group is able to achieve its goal – to win.
