The Battle of Polytopia is a sandbox game where the player has to build their own world. The game is implemented in the genre of turn-based strategy.

The strategic goal is to build your own global Empire within the framework of the game. The game process is divided into stages, and each stage is divided into tactical steps:

• Savage tribes live on an endless playing field – the player needs to choose a tribe for which he will fight with other tribes, and which he will develop from a primitive system , to a high-tech civilization.
• Having chosen the side of one of the tribes, the player must find the optimal place on the game map, in terms of access to resources, on which he will build the first city of his Empire. This city will become the center of the spread of a new civilization – the power of the player.
• Next, the player should explore the world around them: the dark forests of Barduria, the rainforests of Kaku – the Empire of other players – in order to search, find and extract resources.
• Resources and territories – you need to fight for them or make friends with other tribes. The player will have to conclude non-aggression pacts with friendly tribes, and create coalitions against hostile tribes, in whose territories there will be a limited amount of resources.
• So, by war and peace, with the help of technology and treaties, the player must build every detail of the new world brick by brick, in order to extend the power of his Empire to the entire game world as a result.
