Plank: Get Stronger is an application that allows you to control the time of the plank exercise, as well as the frequency and intervals between exercises. The application also serves as a notebook where the user can record the results of the exercises. The notebook reminds the user of the application about the time of the lesson, suggests training scenarios and records the results.
“Planck” is a unique sports exercise that is performed statically, without active movements. This static exercise is intended to strengthen the waist frame of the muscles: abs, lateral muscles of the body, muscles of the back, legs and buttocks. In addition, the “bar” increases the overall tone of the body.
“Plank” – how to do the exercise? The exercise is performed on a hard surface. Starting position:
- Lie face down as it is done for push-ups from the floor.
- Push up from the floor to straight arms, legs are fixed on the toes.
- The point of the head, back, buttocks and heels – they should all be on the same almost horizontal line.
In such a static position, the “bar” exercise is performed.
Exercise “plank” has several varieties. “Plank” can be done both on outstretched arms and on elbows. Performing the exercise, you can alternately tear your hands off the floor. You can also hold the “bar” on your side – resting on the floor with only one hand.
The duration of the “bar” – you should start with 30 seconds. If nothing hurts, the exercise time can be increased to 2 minutes. In one workout, you can perform several varieties of the exercise “bar”. You can do multiple workouts in one day.
The uniqueness of the exercise “bar” lies in the fact that in a minimum amount of time and effort you can get the maximum result.
Application functions:
- Timer – it controls the duration of the exercise and the interval between exercises;
- Alarm clock – reminds you of the start time of the workout;
