Avast Cleanup – this utility is designed to interactively analyze the operation of a mobile device, scan it for junk files, and optimize its operation – clean the phone from temporary, obsolete, damaged and malicious files, as well as block the functions of applications running in background.

Avast Cleanup — how it works. For example, every user action is recorded by a mobile phone and stored in memory as a hidden file. Over time, such hidden files about user activity accumulate in the phone in the hundreds of thousands: the phone, in order to execute some user command, looks for a file in its memory that contains the command execution algorithm. But in order to find this batch file, the phone goes through the entire array of files contained in the phone. The more such files the phone contains, the more time it needs to find one searched file – this leads to the fact that the phone starts to freeze and blunt. How to deal with it?

Download, install and configureAvast Cleanup . Customize – means to set the frequency with which the utility will clean up the phone from unnecessary files and block background processes. Also, the user in the settings can create a list of files and applications that the utility will ignore.

The Avast Cleanup utility has two versions.1) Free.Key features:

• scan phone contents and give the user statistical information in the form of a graph. All phone content is divided into categories: applications, photos, documents, etc.;
• to analyze the contents of the phone for unnecessary files;
• remove unnecessary files: thumbnails, images, cache, temporary, obsolete and damaged files;
• search and edit lists of files and application: delete, change storage location, rename.

In the settings, the user can set the criteria by which files will be displayed: by size, by name or by extension.

This list contains a minimum of functions, as a result of which the load on the phone’s RAM will decrease, and the battery’s energy resources will increase – the phone becomes more productive, and works faster and longer.

2) Premium version (paid).Additional functions:

• In the settings, the user can set photo quality parameters that the utility will ignore and delete the rest;
• Save the user’s files and sync their changes to the Dropbox cloud storage – this gives the user access to their own files from any smart device, and from anywhere in the world.
