Apple CarPlay – this application displays on the screens of Android devices the software of the same name of the multimedia-adapted system of modern cars.
The CarPlay application installed on a smartphone or tablet running the Android operating system gives the user full access to all the options of the Apple CarPlay multimedia system. Thus, the user of an Android device can:
- Activate an online Google Maps map – navigator – as a virtual navigator.
- Use Siri is a cloud-based personal assistant and voice-controlled Q&A system.
- Receive and make phone calls.
- Send and receive text messages; the latter are voiced by a synthetic voice.
- Listen to music and podcasts.
Note: The Apple CarPlay app does not display playful apps. Playing mobile games while driving a car is a dubious occupation.
