Digital Wellbeing – an application from Google, the purpose of which is to enable users to find and establish the optimal balance between digital and real life in the process of using the phone.
This app has also earned the name Android Pie killer. The latter is distinguished by too many applications running in the background, which sometimes you really want to “kill”.
So, Digital Wellbeing is a time manager with which you can control the time spent alone with the phone in order to rationally limit the time of using it, the phone.
How does it work?
The application analyzes your user activity in all applications installed on your phone and makes daily lists, which, using numbers and graphs, very informatively demonstrates:
- How often do you check your phone
- How many times a day do you unlock your screen
- How often and for how long do you use apps
- How many notifications do you get from the app, and how many of them do you react to and how.
Tools.
- Timer – it will help you set the time at which your phone will be switched in one of four modes:
1) “shades of gray”,
2) “do not disturb”
3) “sleep”. - 4) The “concentration of attention” mode.
This is a mode in which the application Digital Wellbeing disables all applications installed on your phone with one click, except for one – the one you are working in, for example, it can be a mobile office, a fitness application or a media player.
Thus, the “concentration of attention” mode can be configured so that the applications marked in the settings turn off and turn on automatically at the time you specify.
