Pixel Launcher

Pixel Launcher is a beta launcher specially designed for smart devices from Google – Pixel and Pixel XL.

What is a launcher? This is a graphical shell – interface – of the operating system, through which a person and a robot communicate with each other. The ease of use, for example, of a phone or computer, depends on how informative, interactive and personalizable the launcher is. one-touch apps are the criteria that the developers of the Pixel Launcher launcher aspired to.

Key features:

1. The ability to activate mobile services from Google directly on the main screen and with one touch: maps, translator, news, mail, and more. The list of Google mobile services can be edited: add, delete, swap.
2. The Google search function is available to the user both on the home screen and on all desktops of the smart device.
3. Ability to swipe across the bottom of the screen to bring up the application’s Favorites folder; the latter can be edited.
4. A long press on an application shortcut will activate a shortcut to a pre-programmed application function.
