Voice Access

Voice Access is a tool from Google , which can become vital for people who, due to health problems or other circumstances, are unable to interact with a mobile device in standard mode, that is, with hands. The currently existing voice assistants have a number of limitations, and to use them anyway, one way or another, sometimes you need fingers. Realizing that there is a problem, Google decided to make efforts to solve it as soon as possible, and the result of the hard work of programmers was this application, which in the future allows you to interact with the device exclusively by voice, without the help of hands.

The Voice Access product can be safely called experimental, but promising, and so far voice commands have been implemented only in English. After activating this tool, any element of the interface receives its own individual number (navigation buttons, application icons, and so on) – after playing a numerical designation by voice, the user thus simulates a tap on the selected element, after which it automatically starts.

In addition to numbers, the Voice Access application uses such simple commands as “Open Maps”, “Open Chrome”, “Go back”, “Scroll down”, if necessary, you can even write and edit text, however, for now in a small amount. This product will become a lifesaver for users who have a problem with the central nervous system, who are not able to coordinate their movements and therefore cannot work with a mobile device in the usual mode. It remains to be hoped that the developer will continue to develop and improve such a useful product, and not stop halfway!
