Parallyzed is an indie platform adventure game. Timekiller with unique gameplay control mechanics.
Plot. There were two twin sisters – Red and Blue. Their characters, like their names, were different. This circumstance often causes discord and envy between the sisters. So, one day, the Red sister had an attack of black envy – and she knocked her Blue sister off the swing. The blue sister fell and broke her neck. The Blue One remained alive, but fell into a coma. When the Red Sister realized what she had done, devastated – without thoughts, and without feelings – she suddenly heard the voice of her Blue Sister in her head – this was the first mutual penetration of the consciousness of the sisters. It turned out that the sisters could mentally talk. Red promised her Blue sister to help her get out of this helpless state of coma, and by all means return to her own consciousness – to survive.
But in order for the Red Sister to help her Blue Sister, they both need to pass a series of trials. Both sisters, each in their own reality, need to cross the mysterious world. This world is full of obstacles. In two different measures, these barriers have different characteristics. Obstacles as well as sisters differ in character, they differ in color and size. Sisters can only cross obstacles of their own color and size – red or blue, high or low. And since obstacles pass from one world to another, from the consciousness of this sister to the consciousness of another, then in order to overcome obstacles, the sisters also need to constantly change consciousnesses.
From these conditions, a task arises for the player – to help the sisters change consciousnesses. The complexity of the game lies in the fact that the sisters move through the mysterious worlds parallel to each other, and the player needs to exchange the consciousness of the sisters in time, that is, when an obstacle of their own color and size appears in front of the sisters.
Note. The game Parallyzed appeals to the player’s sense of empathy – this is the ability to empathize, to experience another person’s pain as one’s own. In each person, two sides of one consciousness coexist. The game instills in players the skill to move from one side of consciousness to the other at the right time and at the right time.
