LineLight is a neat labyrinth or rail puzzle game.
Process. A clot of energy – a luminous strip – plays the role of a Game Character, which moves along a predetermined route, indicated on the playing field by lines. Lines – they are parallel or perpendicular to each other; lines also appear and disappear from the playing field, forming optical and logical puzzles.
The player’s task is to lead the luminous Game Character along the lines through the game location in a limited amount of time – from the initial to the final entry point from the Labyrinth. In the process of moving along the linear Labyrinth, the player needs to perform game tasks: collide with luminous objects, or avoid collision with him. As the player progresses successfully, his Character acquires new abilities, for example, to create new or eliminate existing lines on the playing field.
One line configuration on the playing field forms a location – the game world. There are 6 such worlds. The game process is divided into levels – there are 200 of them.
The game is accompanied by a hypnotic soundtrack in the style of computer polyphony.
