This is a story about how the moon appears in the sky: how it is born on one horizon, grows in the middle of the sky and disappears on another. A fabulous gardener lives on the right horizon. He grows flowers and trees in his garden. But these are not simple plants – the moon is born, lives and dies on their top.

The gardener grows fairy trees and flowers according to the laws of a puzzle in the puzzle genre: the gardener puts the scattered fragments into one big picture, on which the castle of Nobilrunia is drawn. Trees and flowers grow, and the moon glows mysteriously over the roof of the castle. So, month after month, the gardener has been solving the puzzle for thousands of years. An infinite amount of time has passed since the beginning of this story, the gardener has grown old, he is tired. The gardener is looking for a student to whom he can pass on this proud duty – to help the moon be born, shine over the roofs of houses in a full circle, and quietly go out in order to be born again at the beginning of the month.
