Space War FREE – an intergalactic vertical action game without unnecessary bells and whistles and even the slightest hint of a storyline, since immediately after the launch of the novelty from the Virtual GS studio, the user is prompted to choose one of two difficulty options and start a deadly duel with space bodies and ships alien invaders. The gamer will have to compete in the novelty with himself, since only a single-player format is provided and there is not even an opportunity to compare his achievements with the records of other participants in the space confrontation.

The division into independent levels in the arcade Space War FREE is not provided, it is, in fact, endless and continues until the death of the starship under the control of the gamer. Fighter control is extremely simple in theory, but difficult in practice – move your finger from side to side, trying to prevent the ship from colliding with enemy missiles and their ships. Bonuses that should be picked up at the location can be of great help, some of them give temporary invulnerability, others speed up shooting, and so on.

By the way, the bonus is valid exactly until the moment when the starship collides with the enemy or the rocket launched by him. Each new attack wave in Space War FREE is represented by a new type of enemy, so first we have to destroy asteroids, then the first enemy ships of a primitive structure will appear on the horizon, then more powerful and maneuverable vehicles and, of course, sometimes we have to enter into fight with bosses of huge size and firepower.
